Job description/ Your responsibilities 

• Assess the correctness and completeness of the information provided by the clients, including authorizations, reverse charges of VAT, etc. In the event of incomplete or incorrect information provided, this will be communicated to the client in a timely and correct manner. 
• Be responsible for the timely input and submission of customs and related declarations (import, export, and transit, GDB and PD client), in accordance with legal requirements, PTP’s internal procedures, and any specific wishes of the client.
• If necessary, communicate with the customers, customs, and other departments of PTP regarding the (made) declarations.
• Be responsible for the correct, complete, and timely electronic archiving of declarations made and the transfer of these declarations for invoicing and compliance purposes.
• Ensure that your knowledge of customs legislation, procedures, permits, and all common types of customs and related declarations is kept up to date and up to date by, for example, courses, seminars, and reading professional literature.

• You have a Bachelor's degree and required certificate to do financial and tax job in Belgium.
• You have 2-10 years of European customs clearance/declaration operator experience. 
• You have a fluent knowledge of English (oral & written) and Dutch (oral & written).  
• You manage the MS Office package. Knowledge of SAP and warehousing is a plus.
• You are a motivated person with good communication skills and a hands-on mentality.
• You are proactive, self-motivated, and stress resistant. 
• You have a great interest in the logistics world and wish to commit to building a career in it.
